Description

Non Domestic Energy Assessor - Virtual Classroom (NDEA)

Course Title: 6361-08 Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Non Domestic Energy Assessment

Awarding Body: City & Guilds

This course will be delivered via Zoom over three consecutive days with a live tutor and two interactive virtual case studies. You will be able to interact with the tutor in real-time - just as if you were sitting in the classroom.

This four-day virtual classroom-based course will give you the skills required to survey buildings and produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCS) for non-domestic buildings. EPCs are required to be produced by law when a property is sold or let.

The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards, known as MEES, came into force on 1st April 2018 meaning building owners may not let or renew a lease on their property if the EPC is F or G rated. From 1st April 2023, owners must not continue letting a commercial property which is already let if that property has an EPC rating of band F or G.

Once the four days are complete, students will be required to complete a portfolio of 3 example EPCs along with some other electronic assignments. Full portfolio guidance will be provided during the training sessions and each student will be assigned a personal tutor to help guide them through the process via email and telephone support.

Once qualified, candidates can become accredited with any of the UK's approved Accreditation Schemes.
