Description

The role of the Retrofit Assessor has been created in response to PAS2035 which is set to become the domestic retrofit standard for the future.

Retrofit Assessors will undertake a survey of a building incorporating RdSAP data collection, a detailed floor plan, condition survey, occupancy and ventilation assessment. The resulting report can then be lodged in the Trustmark Data Warehouse where Retrofit Coordinators and other stakeholders can access the data to progress retrofit projects.

Our course covers everything you need to become an accredited Retrofit Assessor.

Please note, this course is ran in conjunction with ecmk and will only allow accreditation with ecmk once the course is completed.

Prerequisites

• Anyone wishing to complete this course must hold or be working towards the Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA). Evidence of this will be required during the registration process.

• It is recommended that learners have strong I.T skills and are confident with using a computer to complete the course.

• Once Certificated and Accredited learners will need an iPad to utilise the Retrofit Assessor app in the field.

• This course is self-paced and requires a reasonable degree of self-motivation. For the funded version of this course, learners will have 4 weeks to complete the course from their registration date.
