Build back better!
The Government has published a press release announcing an increase in new-build EPC lodgements of 16% over the last 12 months which indicates an increase in the supply of green homes which fall into the A or B energy rating.
This is encouraging as we start to see a green recovery from the pandemic in the construction industry.
Key highlights include:
- Number of domestic Energy Performance Certificates for new builds up 16% over the last 12 months, showing an increase in supply of green homes
- 85% of homes in England and Wales are in the highest energy efficient bands
