James leads sales and business development at Energy Trust, drawing on more than two decades of experience in client management, business development, and stakeholder relations. James oversees strategic partnerships, contract negotiation, and customer engagement, ensuring the company’s continued expansion and high-quality service delivery.
Imogen House Learning Development Manager
Imogen leads curriculum design and digital learning at Energy Trust, combining strategic planning with a strong operational focus. With a background in business performance and programme delivery, she has led the development of engaging e-learning content for a wide range of energy efficiency and retrofit qualifications. Imogen also manages the organisation’s LMS and ensures that all training aligns with industry standards and learner needs.
Charlotte Lancaster Trainer and Assessor
Charlotte is a qualified trainer and assessor specialising in domestic energy assessment, retrofit assessment, and retrofit coordination. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination along with DEA, NDEA, DOCEA, Retrofit Assessor, and IQA qualifications. At Energy Trust, she delivers both in-person and online training, oversees quality assurance, and mentors learners throughout their qualification journey. Her experience spans CPD training, auditing, and assessment delivery under ECO, SHDF, and LADS schemes – bringing practical insight to every course she leads.
Phil Baxter Trainer
Phil Baxter is a seasoned energy assessor and trainer with a professional background in the British Army and property consultancy. He delivers accredited training in Domestic Energy Assessment and Legionella Risk Assessment, combining industry experience with instructional skills. Phil also runs his own successful energy consultancy, giving his courses a strong real-world grounding. Learners appreciate his practical delivery style, especially his trademark “Phil’s Top Tips.”
Dominic Bowkett Trainer and Assessor
Dominic is a qualified trainer specialising in domestic energy assessment and retrofit assessment. He holds an MSc in Building Surveying, along with DEA, Retrofit Assessor, Older and Traditional Buildings, and Education and Training Awards. At Energy Trust he delivers online training and helps mentor learners through their educational journey. He has experience of delivering assessments under ECO, SHDF, along with a number of heat pump and solar suitability surveys.

Jessica is a dedicated assessor at Energy Trust, supporting learners across Domestic Energy Assessment, Retrofit Assessment, and Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings qualifications. Known for her detailed feedback and clear communication, she ensures assessment integrity and learner confidence. With a background in administration and learner services, Jessica brings precision and empathy to her role and is currently expanding her expertise through qualifications in internal quality assurance and Non-Domestic Energy Assessment.

Maisie Bruton Administrator and Content Producer
Maisie provides administrative and creative support across Energy Trust’s training operations. She coordinates learner communications, course logistics, and certification processes while also contributing to multimedia content production, including instructional video and graphic design. Maisie’s dual skill set in organisation and digital media makes her an integral part of both learner engagement and training delivery.
