Description
PAS 2035 sets the industry standard for assessing dwellings for retrofit, identifying appropriate improvement options, and designing and specifying energy efficiency measures. Developed following the Each Home Counts review, it provides a robust, whole-house framework to ensure domestic retrofit projects are delivered safely, effectively and in line with national standards - helping to reduce carbon emissions from homes and tackle climate change.
The ABBE Level 3 Award in Introduction to Domestic Retrofit provides a structured introduction to the PAS 2035 framework and the wider retrofit standards landscape.
Designed as an accessible entry point, this course is ideal for professionals working in sales, administration, customer service, compliance, and business development roles within the retrofit sectors, as well as those looking to enter the industry.
There are no formal entry requirements, making it suitable for those new to retrofit or individuals in related built environment roles seeking foundational knowledge.
This qualification forms part of a wider retrofit training pathway and provides a strong foundation for further study. Importantly, it also counts as Unit 1 of the Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment.
