We are pleased to announce that Energy Trust have become the first (and currently only) training centre in the UK to be approved to offer the new ABBE Level 3 Certificate for Retrofit Assessors.
This qualification has been developed to meet the need for qualified and competent Retrofit Assessors who play a vital role at the heart of the PAS2035 framework. Although PAS2035 does not currently mandate a specific qualification for Retrofit Assessors this course is aimed at those who want more than just a “death by powerpoint” theory based CPD session.
We believe that a practical based qualification with a mixture of theory and practical assessment which is delivered via a robust assessment process and regulated by a recognised Awarding Body is key to ensuring the delivery of quality, competent and confident Retrofit Assessors into the emerging retrofit marketplace.
This qualification is designed to cover all aspects of PAS2035 Retrofit Assessor role giving the learner the knowledge, understanding and skills to carry out an assessment and produce a condition report. It includes understanding the principles and standards of retrofit, understand the building structures, appraisal of buildings and occupancy assessments which are all essential in this role.
