Energy Trust is proud to announce that we have successfully secured funding through the Home Decarbonisation Skills Training Competition — a government funding programme aimed at training individuals in the energy efficiency and retrofit industry.
In the upcoming months, Energy Trust will receive funding to train hundreds of individuals, equipping them with essential skills for vital roles in the field of energy efficiency and retrofit. As a result, learners will have the opportunity to access funding for various courses, including:
- Level 3 Award in Introduction to Domestic Retrofit
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
- Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings
- Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment and Retrofit Assessor Training (for new entrants)
- Retrofit Assessor Training (for existing DEAs)
Why train with Energy Trust?
For more than 15 years, Energy Trust has established itself as a leading training provider in energy assessment training. Throughout this period, we’ve demonstrated numerous reasons why Energy Trust is recognised as an industry leader, including:
Experienced Trainers
Our trainers are energy professionals. As such, they are familiar with the ins and outs of the energy industry as well as the individual experience of working in this space. This gives them a unique insight which they impart to our learners.
Direct Claims Status (DCS)
Energy Trust holds Direct Claims Status (DCS) for all of it’s funded qualifications. DCS greatly benefits our students as it removes the waiting period for external quality assurance visits; this means that we can certify you quickly, potentially reducing the certificate waiting period from months to just days.
Supportive Guidance
Energy Trust prides itself on excellent customer service and full learner support. We guide individuals from their initial enquiry through to course completion, offering continuous assistance via our monitored helpline. Check out some of our previous learner reviews here.
Affordability
With this grant, we will offer funded options, which will reduce training costs and enable more individuals to enter the energy industry.
Range of Learning
At Energy Trust, we understand that everyone’s learning journey is unique. That’s why we offer three distinct course formats to suit your needs: Self-paced (via our online learning management system), Virtual (live tutor-led online sessions), and Classroom-based (in-person at our HQ).
